PEEK Compressor Valve Plates

PEEK valve plates have low density and low elastic modulus, reducing impact force and the resulting fatigue damage, greatly extending valve life — under normal conditions far exceeding metal valve plates. They provide good sealing performance with reduced gas leakage and excellent running-in characteristics. Flow characteristics are superior to similar metal valve plates, reducing energy loss caused by gas friction in the valve gap; valve energy consumption can be reduced by 5%-10%. They withstand impacts from solid particles and droplets. Crack propagation after valve plate fracture is slow, and even if a broken plate falls into the cylinder, it will not damage the cylinder. Operating noise is low, and with good self-lubrication, they are suitable for both oil-lubricated and oil-free conditions.
